The Dominica Yellow-shouldered Bat occurs on islands of the Lesser Antilles and eats fruit. On Martinique it is confirmed by captures and acoustic records, but its roosts have not been found.
It has a short muzzle, a well-developed noseleaf, and dense, light-brown fur with a woolly appearance.
It is arboreal and eats forest fruit. On Martinique breeding was recorded from April to September; its island roosts remain unknown.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
