This white-eye is restricted to Nendo Island in the Santa Cruz Islands. It has a white eye-ring, brown upperparts, and cinnamon-buff underparts.
Its upperparts are umber brown, with rufous-brown wings and tail. A narrow white eye-ring stands out above cinnamon-buff underparts and an olive-washed throat.
It uses moist lowland forest, edges, and secondary growth. Pairs forage in the canopy and middle storey, feeding on fruit.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
