Johnston's brushtail possum has coppery-red fur and a cream-colored underside. It lives in forests of northeastern Australia and is mainly active in trees at night.
Coppery-red fur covers most of the body, while the underside is a lighter cream color.
It is solitary and nocturnal, spending most of its time in trees. It is most active in the first half of the night and rests in hollow logs or trees by day. It eats leaves, fruit, and other plant material.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
