The Moluccan cuscus is a marsupial from the Moluccan Islands. Its short, woolly coat can have white spots, and a field study also recorded the species on Obi Island.
The revision describes short, woolly dorsal fur ranging from gray-brown or golden-brown to darker reddish-brown. The amount of white spotting on the back and sides varies.
A field study on Obi Island recorded this species among the cuscuses present. Across the cuscuses observed there, the study described nocturnal activity and 16 food plants, with fruit eaten more often than flowers or leaves.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
