  • Northern Gray-bellied Squirrel Callosciurus caniceps

Its coat changes with region and season, and the tail tip is black. From southern Myanmar through Thailand, it uses forests as well as bamboo-rich places and gardens.

  • Monteiro's Bushshrike Malaconotus monteiri

This bushshrike is documented in north-western Angola. Reports from Mount Cameroon are considered unconfirmed, so the range here stays with the confirmed Angolan records.

  • Typical Lemniscomys Lemniscomys striatus

The typical lemniscomys is a grassland mouse with pale stripes and rows of spots on its back. It is active by day and nests among grass or brush.

  • Baikal Bush-warbler Locustella davidi

This small mouse lives in Central American mountain forests. It is active by day and feeds on small invertebrates on the forest floor.

  • Uinta Ground Squirrel Urocitellus armatus

The Uinta ground squirrel digs burrows in meadows and pastures in the western United States. It is active by day and hibernates in the cold season.

  • Lemon-bellied Flyrobin Microeca flavigaster

This small bird occurs in northern Australia. Its belly is pale lemon except in the Kimberley subspecies, and it often calls from high perches.

It is the largest rat in Taiwan. It has coarse black hairs on its back and occurs in lowland farmland, including rice and sugarcane fields there.

  • Kittlitz's Murrelet Brachyramphus brevirostris
