The Ryukyu Long-fingered Bat has narrow, elongated wings. An Okinawa Prefecture account describes it roosting on the islands and feeding on insects at night.
Its fur is brown-black and may sometimes be reddish brown. It has no noseleaf and its wings are narrow and elongated.
The prefectural account says females give birth to one pup in June or July and form maternity colonies. Bats hang in dense clusters at roosts, then emerge after sunset and feed on insects while flying quickly above the canopy.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
