Delany's Swamp Mouse is a small rodent with a tail longer than its body. It builds grass nests in highland wetlands and is active at night.
The back is russet, the chin is whitish, and the belly is buff. Its tail is about twice the combined length of its head and body.
It is nocturnal and builds a round grass nest in a low shrub. Its partly grasping tail and long digits help it climb, and it feeds on seeds.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
