Beddome's woolly horseshoe bat is known from South Asia, and a 2010 paper added a specimen from Thailand. The Thai record is a single animal and may not represent the usual population there.
The specimen found in Thailand had grayish-brown fur that was long and woolly.
Reports from India and Sri Lanka describe it roosting alone or in small groups in hollow trees, small caves, and among boulders.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
